John Cangelosi
Director of Pickleball
John is a USPTA certified pickleball and tennis professional and he brings extensive experience in the racquet sports industry. He has most recently been the Director of Racquets and Fitness at Sarasota National Golf Club. John currently competes at the professional pickleball level and has won several medals in professional singles and doubles. His pickleball rating is 6.25 in singles and 5.57 in doubles. John also worked at Longwood Cricket Club in Chestnutt Hill, MA where he was the head of the upper junior program and also coached private lessons and clinics to members of the club. He graduated from Connecticut College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and was a 4-year starter in both tennis and hockey. After graduating, he played semi-professional ice hockey in Germany and tennis in the Boston PRO Tennis League. He received a masters’ degree in Sports Administration from Boston College. John is passionate about teaching and growing the game and he’s very excited about taking our pickleball program to the next level.

Designed for intermediate level players looking to improve their game with drills, more advanced shots, courts positioning, and strategic play.
Beginner Pickleball
Tuesdays 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Designed for those who are new to pickleball. learn the rules around the kitchen and service as well as fundamentals of the game.
Stroke of the Week
Wednesdays 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Practice and improve a specific skill followed by doubles game play.
Open Play
Intermediate | Mondays & Thursdays, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Beginner | Thursdays, 6:00 p.m. & Fridays, 9:00 a.m.
Mixers | Tuesdays & Fridays 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Come out for some doubles play. No reservations required and no need to organize play. Just show up for some fun.
