Who We Are
Laurel Oak Country Club’s west course and clubhouse opened in August 1990. In early 1995 the East Course opened for play. Both were developed as Gary Player Signature Courses. In 1999 the club was turned over to the members and has been run successfully ever since. In 2005 the West course was redesigned by Rees Jones, the world-renowned golf course architect. At the same time the clubhouse was expanded to meet the growing needs of the members and their guests.
The Club survives and thrives in today’s environment without compromising facilities or service. However, the membership is fully cognizant of the many issues facing private Clubs in the area and nationwide.
Another reason for success goes beyond the outstanding golf courses, tennis facility and clubhouse to a vibrant inclusive membership. As owners, each of our members shares in the Club’s commitment to a continuous, financially responsible, improvement process.
Our liaison program ensures new members are quickly integrated into the Club and soon become equally committed to the success of the Club.
