Kids Program

With over 300 children under 21 as part of the membership as Laurel Oak Country Club, we have programs designed especially for kids.

Summer Camps

Kids can choose from several different camps over the summer
Future Stars Camp is for ages 5-7 years.  Kids can participate in 3 hours of tennis, lunch and swimming up to 4 days a week.
Junior Sports Camp is for ages 8 and up.  Kids participate 5 hours a day and includes tennis, lunch, swimming, soccer and other games.

Junior Golf Camps

These camps are designed for ages 6-17 years.  Three Day Holiday Camps are offered Spring Break, Summer, Fall and Christmas. They include 2 Days of Instruction and an Adult-Junior Tournament on the Last day

Swordfish Swim Team

Ages 5-14 years
The Laurel Oak Swim Team is a member of the SunCoast League, which is a collection of Manatee and Sarasota teams. The team provides swimmers, the opportunity to learn team development and personal goals in a semi-competitive aquatic environment. The Swordfish compete with several other clubs in the Sarasota area. Our professional staff also directs a program that offers beginning lessons.

Lifeguards are always on duty during summer pool hours to ensure the safety of our members.

Junior Tennis

The Laurel Oak junior program is designed to maximize the student’s potential through quality instruction, an enthusiastic atmosphere and world-class facilities. The program extends from ages 5 through high school. The activities are varied throughout the year, with after school programs five times a week, including Saturdays, from August through May.
