The heart of Laurel Oak Country Club’s social life is our outstanding food and beverage service. We offer everything from sandwiches and refreshing snacks on our Golf Course beverage cart or at our poolside snack bar to an extensive and varied dinner menu choices that would make any food connoisseurs mouth water in our Members’ Lounge and dining rooms.
Our culinary staff is headed up by Executive Chef, Jeff Parsons who always delivers interesting and well prepared meals that are made with only the highest quality ingredients and panache. Deborah McKenna, our Dining Room Director and her professionally trained staff strive to ensure that your every dining experience is a pleasant one.
The Club offers its members many different dining options.
Our Members’ Lounge has a casual atmosphere and is a great place to grab a quick cocktail, lunch or dinner after a round of golf or your tennis match. You can also catch up on the current news or check your teams score on one of the two wide screen televisions or warm up on a cold day by the cozy fireplace. If you prefer to eat out side, there is a patio area that overlooks the putting green just steps away.
Our Garden Room, with its panoramic view of the 9th and 18th holes of the Golf course, has an open airy feeling. You can enjoy lunch or dinner while viewing the amazing wildlife that is so abundant at Laurel Oak. Adjacent to the Garden Room is our Piano Bar, where we host monthly Piano Bar Nights with guest pianist from the area.
The beautifully appointed Laurel Room is available for club social events as well as weddings, cotillions or any private function you may have in mind. Kara Kinghorn is Laurel Oak’s Banquet and Events manager; you can call her for any of your private event needs at 941.378 or email her at events@laureloak.com . She can help you plan an intimate dinner to the most elaborate of weddings.
Laurel Oak hosts a variety of social events each year whether it be our monthly Piano Bar, Tapas Night, Bridge, Nine and Dines or one of our annual events such as our Seafood Extravaganza and Halloween Trick or Treat and Monster Ball. We have activities and events for all ages.
