Laurel Oak offers 600 Golf, 240 Tennis and unlimited Social Memberships. Residency in the Laurel Oak Community is not a requirement of membership.

Laurel Oak membership offers golf, tennis and swimming plus a calendar of many social events for all ages. The relatively young age of our members and the Club’s proven ability to attract members from all over the Sarasota area assure you of a more energetic, highly participatory membership. Florida is well known as the retirement state and many of our members are retired. However many young families are raising their children at Laurel Oak Country Club so you can expect to see family-oriented events throughout the year. 

Children’s events and activities are offered throughout the year, especially in the summer. We offer year-round junior golf and tennis clinics, summer tennis and swim camps as well as the Laurel Oak summer swim team which competes locally. Our Halloween party alone attracts over 500 members and guests, and annual events such as Easter Egg Hunt with the Bunny along with pony and carriage rides, and Brunch with Santa at Christmas are very popular. Other fun children’s events are Pizza, Tennis & Swim nights, Dive-in movies at the pool and Fear Factor night. You will also find weekly organized activities such as Bridge, Water Aerobics and Cardio Tennis.

Your membership at Laurel Oak will also give you privileges at two of the area’s most prestigious clubs. We have a year-round reciprocal agreement with The Bird Key Yacht Club located in a beautiful setting on Sarasota Bay close to downtown. You can dine, swim, play tennis or use the fitness facility along with the ability to “dock and dine’ and participate in social events and outings and conveniently charge back to your membership account at Laurel Oak. We also have a new alliance with HealthPlex Fitness Center in Sarasota which is offering a reduced joining fee to its state-of-the-art facility for Laurel Oak members.
